The solo druid – Cleric Druid Solo leveling
[startclear] [postad]So you want to level your Cleric? And you want to do it by yourself? This guide demonstrates the best Cleric Druid Solo Leveling build!
The focus of this cleric druid solo leveling build is survivability. Eventually you will be able to pull 10+ enemies that are higher level and “own” everything. Thanks to Justicar your attacks will heal yourself and your pet. Eventually Druid talents will provide you with a similar effect (aid of the forest). Once you unlock Spirit of Upheavel your pet will be doing insane Area of Effect (AoE) damage whilst healing himself and you!
[stopclear]Rift version: 2.5
Purpose of build: Solo questing
Best combined with: Friend that has AoE dps
Difficulty: Beginner
Level 10: Let’s start with Justicar
Ability bar
Macro, Vex
Explanation
Because this cleric druid solo leveling guide is aimed at new players we will start with survivability. Therefore we put 10 points in Justicar and only 3 points in Druid. Use the “Summon: Satyr Protector” and have the pet “Tank” the enemies for you. Spamming the macro will send it to attack the enemy. For additional damage place “Vex” on key 5. Refresh it every 15 seconds.
Fighting: With the Satyr pet active spam your macro until the enemy is dead. If you want extra DPS you can cast vex every 15 seconds. Casting Vex multiple times does not work because it does Damage over time (DoT) for 15 seconds.
Note: Make sure you pet is set to Defensive and you have set all abilities to auto cast (right click until it is glowing). By default c-5 is disabled(!).
Level 16: Ready for dungeons
New abilities
Combined effort: Extra damage (already in macro!)
Righteous mandate: Cast on pet to heal him extra
Ability bar
Macro, Even Justice (new), Vex, Righteous Mandate (new)
Instructions
Cast the new buff Rightous Manadate on your pet. It will further increase the survivability of your pet. For 2+ mobs spam Even justice. For <2 mobs spam the macro and keep Vex on your target.
Explanation
With 16 points in Justicar we are now finished with this tree. The survivability is very high which means you can pull a lot of mobs at the same time. Even justice will allow you to damage 5 enemies. Because this is a life spell it will also provide extra healing through salvation.
This build is listed for level 16 because now you can enter dungeons. Your DPS is reasonable thanks to the AoE ability Even justice. In low level dungeons most players are not using AoE abilities which puts you at an advantage. You can join as a support because your salvation will heal the group. If needed switch to your “Faerie Healer” for additional healing. Pace Righteous Mandate on the Tank to help out the healer.
Level 20: Let’s work on Druid
New abilities
Eruption of Life: deals damage, additional damage when the cleric hits the enemy over the next 15s
Ability bar
Macro, Even Justice , Eruption of Life (new), Vex, Righteous Mandate
Explanation
Eruption of Life will deal additional damage each time the cleric hits the target. Make sure you keep this ability applied on the enemy. It will fall off after 15 seconds, OR if the cleric has hit the enemy 5 times. Because it is instant we cannot Macro it and have to put it on a seperate button.
Tricker’s bolt will be put in the macro. It will only be used when you are not in melee range and when Bolt of Radiance is already on cooldown. Note that Vex is now removed from the Macro.
Instructions
For single target fights keep vex and eruption of life applied on the target. Other than that spam the macro. For 2+ mobs switch to spamming Even justice. Dont forget to apply Righteous Mandate on your Satyr pet!
Level 30: New ability extravaganza
New abilities
Summon Greater Fearie Healer: better heal pet!
Wild Strike: druid AoE, less healing more damage
Fae step: teleport to the enemy
Thorns of Ire: debuff that causes damage on hit
Notion theft: Interrupt
Peace of the Forest: Restore 7% mana for 7% health
Fae Dispersion: AoE Toggle for fearies
Ability bar
Macro, Even Justice , Eruption of Life, Thorns of Ire (new), Vex, Notion Theft (new), Peace of the Forest (new), Fae Dispersion (new), Righteous Mandate
Explanation
Thanks to the extra points in Druid your damage output will significantly inrease. You will gain two new pets; the greater Satyrn Protector and the Greater Fearie healer. Both of these are better versions of the original pets and can be leveled to 60. So remove the old pets from your ability bars and start using the new ones!
There is a new debuff: Thorns of Ire. Similar to Eruption of Life it will deal damage when the cleric hits the target. With Fae Step you can now teleport to your enemies. If you feel the need to interrupt enemies then add Notion Theft to your ability bar.
Enablign Fae dispersion will allow your Greater Fearie healer to heal 5 targets. However this will reduce it’s healing by 40%! Only recommended when healing 2 or more players.
Instructions
For single target fights keep Thorns of Ire, Eruption of Life and Vex applied on the target. Other than that spam the macro. For 2+ mobs switch to spamming Even justice. Don’t forget to apply Righteous Mandate on your Greater Satyr pet!
Level 40: almost there
New abilities
Hidden Path: Cleanse
Aid of the Forest: pet will heal the cleric and the pet
Ability bar and Buffs
Macro, Even Justice , Eruption of Life, Thorns of Ire, Vex, Notion Theft , Peace of the Forest, Fae Dispersion , Righteous Mandate
Fury of the Fae, Aid of the Forest
Explanation
The build is getting close to being fully operational. Just 5 more levels to go to unlock the “overpowered” Spirit of Upheavel pet AoE. Not much has changed, except that you are now more powerful. Your pet will take less damage and you will receive more healing from your pet. Do not forget to activate the new buffs Fury of the Fae and Aid of the Forest!
Instructions
Same as level 30.
Level 45: Let the pwnage begin!
New abilities
Spirit of Upheavel: Cleric pet abilities do additional earth damage to 5 enemies
Essence strike: refreshes eruption of life
Resounding blow: Next ability will do 50% more damage
Ability bar and Buffs
Macro, Even Justice , Eruption of Life, Thorns of Ire, Vex, Notion Theft , Peace of the Forest, Fae Dispersion , Righteous Mandate
Fury of the Fae, Aid of the Forest, Spirit of Upheavel
Explanation
Congratulations your build is now fully functional. Activate Spirite of Upheavel and go crazy. This spell will proc 5 times on every enemy the pet hits. So when fighting 10 enemies your screen will be filled with damage numbers. The best thing is that you can keep pulling additional enemies because thanks to Salvation and Aid of the Forest each damaging spell heals the pet and the cleric.
Instructions
Same as level 30. Dont forget that you can now use Strength of the Fae to become truly invincible.
Level 50: To the storm legion!
New abilities
Ability bar and Buffs
TO DO (sorry guys!)
Macro, Even Justice , Eruption of Life, Thorns of Ire, Vex, Notion Theft , Peace of the Forest, Fae Dispersion , Righteous Mandate
TO DO (sorry guys!)
Fury of the Fae, Aid of the Forest, Spirit of Upheavel
Explanation
Nothing special here. Just filling the tree. The new spell Crushing force can be a minor dps gain.
Instructions
Same as level 30.
Basically you can manage from here. The final point do not matter as much. Just keep filling the Druid Soul. In the end you end up with 60 Druid and 16 Justicar. When you hit level 60 you should consider a proper endgame talent build!
